About this restaurants :
Excellent bakery with a variety of sweet and savory options, plus a number of loaves. No coffee.
Stopped in for an egg galette and a cheddar biscuit- both fantastic and game fresh from the oven (still warm).
Delightful customer service to boot! They recommended a coffee shop up the block!
I loved this bakery. All the breads look beautiful, it is difficult to choose which one because all seems to be delicious. I gave a try to the sunflower cherry and it was so delicious. Also they have some pastries and cakes. The bakery is only to go, there are no tables and chairs to dine in.
I have been a sourdough baking enthusiast for over 10 years, baking several times per week, reading many books, and experimenting with different flours and methods. Because of this, I have a high level of expectations when buying bread. After moving to Cincinnati, I sought out sourdough bakeries to try their breads. Allez is the best I’ve found both in Cincinnati and other cities. The flavor and crumb is excellent. I am so thankful they are there.
The very best bread! $6 / loaf and worth every penny. This is why Paris says that most Americans have no idea what bread is!
They have a great bread, but they should put “White Only” sign outside of their door. Cashier handed white customers bread in a brown bag without request. I was handed my bread in a clear white plastic bag. I thought it was a mistake for the first time. It happens for the second and third time while the people in front of me getting their bread in a brown bag. I will never recommend it for non-white customers.
