What do Amano visitors reviews this place?
One of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to in a long time…stunningly stylish fitout in a fantastic location, the staff were lovely and attentive to our needs…the food was incredible and you have to try the clams and also the octopus…one slight knock on Amano was the wine list could have been a little more comprehensive. Regardless, treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience and visit Amano
Second time here and both the breakfast and dinner menus have produced food that did not disappoint. I had the prosciutto with eggs. They went a little heavy on the garlic but I enjoyed it still.
I recently discovered this restaurant through Google and had high expectations due to its popular reviews. However, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. I didn’t anticipate that a brunch spot would require reservations, and it was incredibly busy on weekends. After putting our name on the waitlist, we had to wait for about an hour and a half before being seated. Even after we finally sat down and placed our orders, the food took another over half an hour to arrive, and only after we inquired about it with the waitress.
While the pasta we ordered was delicious (even though a little salty), as a main course, the portion was not filling enough. Absolutely! Lesson learned, making a reservation in advance will be necessary for future visits. I do hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve their service, as it would greatly enhance the overall experience for their customers.
This is the prettiest place I’ve been to so far. With aesop soap & hand cream in the bathrooms, marble bar tops and delicious noodles, it was a very pleasant experience.
However, once we tried to order some more bread and butter, the waitress seemed like she was annoyed with us.
Speaking of the bread, it was amazing with the butter and the sea flakes!
The noodles were good, portions were good as well. The clams were juicy and delicious.
We received a warm welcome prior to being shown to our table. The menu was carefully explained, so we knew what we could expect. We appreciated the.option of converting an entree option to main size. Wait staff were attentive, friendly, and paid attention to detail. We very much enjoyed our meals. Great location for overlooking the Port.
