Today we went to Ann’s Bakery to get lunch. There is a deal you get 2 courses. You get a main meal and a dessert. I got fish and chips. For dessert I got a strawberry cheesecake. My son tried the roast Carvery. He had turkey and ham with roast potatoes and vegetables. He had a Black Forest Cake for dessert. The food was alright. I thought my fish could have been a bit crisper. The place was clean and the staff are friendly! They also have lots of fresh cakes and pastries. It has a bakery section too.

Went in today and got two meals one of us got chicken and the other got roast beef nearly had the meal ate when I cut into the chicken and realised it was raw🤢I brought it back to the food counter and the lady said it wasn’t raw and she’d give me different meat when the chicken was clearly pink, I’m not one for complaining so I just left it at that but I feel like I definitely should have been given a refund, I circled a part of the pic where there’s bacon thats supposed to be pink but the rest of it is just raw!

Today (01/03/2024) at 10:14 am I went to Anns bakery branch at 41Mary street. Even though it was written on the board behind the counter that the special offers were written that 5 cakes were 13 EU and 6 cakes were 15 EU. One of man was taking my order than the woman at the counter told the male employee who was taking care of me 5 cakes for 17.5 EU and 6 cakes for 20 EU. Even though I told them that what they were doing was wrong and that what was written on the board behind the counter was different from what they said, they did not listen to me and set the price according to their wishes.They charged me 17.5 EU for 5 cakes. If I had bought 6 cakes, they wanted to charge me 20 EU.

Have say use come here with my mum wen we be in town shopping. Lovely cakes. Hot food great dinner, breakfast sandwiches Lovely pot tea..staff so nice. But all change now all done up new staff. Well young staff. But photos of poeple that worked here. Way back. Of them on walls. Which Lovely see.
