What do Ann’s Bakery visitors reviews this place?
Not too bad but not amazing or one to remember…
We landed in Dublin, got to the city & were very hungry for some quick breakfast type food. Thankfully, we stumbled upon Ann’s which was everything we needed right then.
A great service of food that you choose & get plated as soon as you arrive. Good prices for Dublin & plenty of room to find a comfortable seat.
Tables are small though & as you get served with a large tray, it is quite hectic trying to rearrange the layout to feel ok & not cramped when eating.
The food quality was good! Sadly, the drinks were not. We both got hot drinks – Flat White & Cup of Tea – & neither of us enjoyed these at all. Despite having a large & good looking coffee machine, the quality of both bean & poor milk steaming made for a rather bitter coffee. The tea was also poor & didn’t taste good.

Food made up for this somewhat as it was everything we needed & the speed of service to eating is perfect. Nice staff, nice location, clean on inspection, poor drinks…
First the staff wouldn’t clean up a table and we were told to go to the downstairs seatings. Then they closed the downstairs seatings and when we tried to use the upstairs toilet (the downstairs toilets where closed for cleaning), which were unclean and didn’t have any toilet paper either, we had to physically move two chairs on top of the stairs put in our way. The chairs were used to hold a sign saying “sorry, closed”. The food was nothing to brag about but ok.
Fine location. Service was a bit on the “teenager that doesn’t care” but the assortment and the coffee were fine.
Got a good seat in the sun!
Stopped early in the morning to have breakfast. Most of the items were pretty good. I enjoyed the potatoes and bread the most. Some of the items were foreign to me so that might have been a reason why it wasn’t the best.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Lovely place! Great food! Thank you 🙏
