$9.50 for a Steak Pie (Gourmet according to them!) and it had TWO pieces of Steak in the whole pie, the rest was just meat flavored gluten – so disappointed and ripped off, I would have been better paying $5 at the bakery 2 doors down. Same for the Chicken & Bacon Gourmet Pie @ $9.50, it had two pieces of chicken and four pieces of bacon. $19 later, two half eaten pies in a bag on the floor of the car. Won’t be stopping there again and probably cured of pie cravings for some time…..On a good note, the girl serving behind the counter was great, as was the Vanilla Slice
Great choice of pastries and pies. They do not accept foreign credit cards so have cash if you aren’t from NZed. The location is a bit worn but clean and located on the main street through the town
very nice place to have breakfast and brunch with the loved ones. Yummy pies and delicious desserts, the only problem is too many options to choose from.
Went for tea after work, had a blueberry tart and a mixed berry milkshake, both absolutely delish!
Maybe the best Steak and Mushroom pie I’ve ever had, ever. The coffee was also perfect. The staff was very friendly. I can’t say more about how impressed I was with my experience here. Must stop in for pie, if you get the chance
