About this restaurants :
This is my comfort cafe, and since the Duke street branch opened it has become my favourite of the two. I cannot wait until they open up elsewhere and have even more space. Their pastry selection is just perfect. I can’t fault anything! It’s simply a matter of taste. Most recently, I have tried their chocolate pear tart and their Japanese style coffee cheese cake. Both amazing! The egg tart is probably my favourite thing on the menu. It’s a bit eggy for some but in a way that makes it very rich and creamy. Delicious! Their seasonal rosemary hot chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt is also very nice. I hope they keep coming up with the specials and that they introduce another saviour croissant that is vegetarian. 😍
Ordered the honey butter toast, chocolate pistachio escargot and the caramel custard tart. All so good. Honey butter toast was worth the visit alone. Also bought the egg sando to go and it was so good. Lovely coffee and vibes as well. And at a great price point for the location (just off Oxford St).
This was our second visit to Arome bakery, we previously tried the Mercer street store.
There was a queue starting outside to get in, but this only took a few minutes. There was a nice vibe inside and the staff are friendly and efficient. We had the veggie spinach and ricotta quiche, pear and chocolate tart and their highly popular honey toast. Everything was really tasty as was the coffee. The honey toast was a tad too sweet for our liking and the quiche is a bit heavy on the ricotta, both were good nonetheless. Look forward to trying out their croissants the next time!

A very niche cafe next to Selfridges.
Very good pastries and coffee.
My favourites are “Seasonal Veggie Quiche”, “Honey Butter Toast”, “Coffee Cheesecake”!
The best thing is their food is not just delicious and the pastries are not too sweet which really helps to taste the real flavours of these desserts..
Although, a bit the prices are about £1 more than some others, but definitely worth every penny!

The team is really friendly and efficient, a guy called Christian is so good to remember the names of customers.
When I first heard about Arôme bakery, I was skeptical, thinking it might just be another Instagram-fueled sensation. However, my visit changed my mind instantly! The honey toast I tried was a perfect blend of sweet and savory, each bite a delightful experience. The coffee cheesecake paired with a flat white was an absolute treat, with flavors that danced harmoniously on my palate. Everything was fantastic!
A heads-up for new visitors: make sure you secure a table before ordering. Arôme operates with a unique policy where you need a table to dine in. If it’s full, the only option is takeaway. So, snagging a table first is crucial to enjoy their delectable offerings in the cozy ambiance of the cafe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch cafe fare!
