Arôme Bakery – Mercer Street

Arôme has now become my cafe spot in London!

The honey toast is a MUST HAVE! If you love caramelised crunchy toast that is not sickening sweet, this toast is to fall in love with. It looks simple but tastes delightful! I really like the crunchy shell with a soft centre.

Their coffee is well made too!

The only thing is that you would need luck to get a table, otherwise, this is a place you can buy happiness 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

This bakery always has queues, so make sure to come early! I went on a Wednesday morning, half an hour after it opened.
The pastries smelled delicious and were freshly made.

I walked in as the Honey Butter Toast (£4.9) was just ready, so I had to try it.
It is one of their most famous items on the menu, and it did not disappoint. The outside is crispy and sweet, the inside fluffy.
I also went for a latte, and let me tell you, dip the toast into your coffee, it will blow your mind!

Service was also very friendly and attentive. The place is small, but has a cosy atmosphere to sit down and enjoy your food.
I’m excited to go back and try more of their pastries!

It is stunning. Everything was so tasty!!!
The pistachio chocolate escargot was absolutely amazing.
Fully recommended!!!

The pain au chocolat and sansho pepper pain suisse are good. The same can be said about the honey toast. I wish they keep it warm and serve with some ice cream on top.

What’s outstanding is rather the egg tart. They bring out the egg’s flavour so well.

When it comes to bread and pastry, the East Asian flavors that I grew up with still capture my heart the most. @aromebakerylondon has an amazing selection of French and Asian fusion pastries, and I wanted to try all of them if I had the capacity!

The egg tart is super cute and delicious, and as a crust lover I was very happy with it. Would definitely go back when I visit London!
