I was led here by the Instagram feed which always knows and shows the best spots in town. It definitely was not wrong! We took a chance and headed there on a Saturday morning, already knowing it would be chaotic. However, we lucked out on an open parking spot a block away so we knew it was meant to be! Although the line was about half a block from the door, it moved quickly thanks to the efficient staff running the small shop. We ordered the plain croissant, chocolate, almond and ham and cheese. The first two were HEAVENLY and shattered into beautiful buttery bits with every bite. What’s even more magical is the chocolate that was used inside the croissant. It stayed creamy throughout, without any trace of hard unbaked bits. I’d venture to say it was a luxurious experience having a dessert-level croissant for breakfast 🙂 The others were good but a bit heavy handed in some parts, like the super rich cheese or the very generous almond paste which made them overwhelming. Next time, we’ll stick to ordering the basics! And next time can’t come soon enough… Eager to see how their new location by the Chase Center will do!
Best croissant I’ve ever had! Absolutely loved the almond croissant- flaky on the outside but so buttery + soft on the inside. Parallels Paris quality (maybe even better). So good.
We saw the long line and had to give it a try. The verdict? Excellent ham & cheese. But their plain croissant is average at best. It’s excessively flakey, making a huge mess with every bite. The croissants from Maison Nico are much more elegant, and actually tastier (pictured in the right). We picked one up on the way home after visiting Arsicault, just to have a croissant showdown at home. Maison Nico won hands down.
The croissants are on another level, absolutely decadent and delicious!!! Chocolate almond is our favorite! I don’t live here but my cousin will be them when he visits or we come when I visit. Nice staff thank you!!!
Five stars for Arsicault! Their croissants are absolutely phenomenal – flaky, buttery, and with a perfect golden brown crust. They’re the kind of croissant that make you close your eyes and savor every bite. I can’t recommend them enough! Além disso, they have a great selection of other pastries and breads, so there’s something for everyone. I’ll definitely be back soon!
