Without a doubt the most creative French Patisserie I’ve seen anywhere. Richard doesn’t cease to amaze with the extraordinary presentation of his cakes & desserts. His eclairs are #1 and his raspberry framboise tart is something else again! This hidden gem in Burleigh is a must visit for anyone who wants to step up a few notches in their culinary pursuits.
Such gorgeous and light pastries that are beautiful. The owner is so lovely and is so passionate about her work. A small business that when I do visit again, I will continue to support. Highly recommend!

So you have pastries and fine pastries, the latter being more subtle in taste and texture, made with a combination of fine ingredients. They are the perfect end to a nice meal, make a tea time a million times better or can be the perfect snack 😉 … Fine pastries are la crème de la crème in the pastry world.
This is where Aux Fines Bouches stands. Owned by a french chef and his always smiling singaporean wife, Aux Fines Bouches is the most amazing discovery in the most unexpected place. From fruits to chocolate (real intense one), from hazelnut to praline, from Paris brest to Lemon and yuzu tart, Forêt Noire to raspberry tart, everything is as you would expect from the best in France.
As a regular visitor to the Gold coast, I easily drive 30mn to get one (most likely several) of their cakes, which is often gone by the time I leave their car park.
The cakes can travel very easily in an air conditioned car so don’t be out off by the weather.
For easter the cakes take the shape of easter eggs.
