What do Aux Merveilleux de Fred visitors reviews this place?
Everything is baked or made in-house. The fresh baked smell just invites you in. Very friendly people working in there. Coffee was good and croissants were just excellent. I felt myself in France. Just coffee of course is better in France. Beautiful setup, except the huge chandelier that looked pretty awkward in the low ceiling hall. Now I know where to have my breakfast in Downtown Toronto.
This cute little bakery is quite an impressive place to try a few freshly baked items. We tried the regular Butter Croissants and they were fresh, warm, fluffy, buttery and absolutely delicious. I will definitely visit again and explore it’s outlets in other cities as well. The service was quick and the interior was aesthetically pleasing, with a beautiful chandelier.
Really interesting French desserts! The meringue are these beautifully decorated mounds that are so soft and pillowy. It’s nothing like I have ever tasted before. You probably should eat them the same day or right after you order it because I can imagine it doesn’t keep well for too long. They seem like super delicate desserts but very delicious.
Pretty good bakery/cafe located in a bustling part of downtown Toronto. It has an oversized chandelier that visually sets this place apart from other bakeries.
I’ve tried the brioche, croissant and meringue ball. All were good, but didn’t wow me like it did for other reviewers. Solid choice if you are craving and in the area.

This is my first time visiting this bakery, and overall the presentation of the place was very nice and the quality of food does being made was very good. They offer different types of bread, cakes, pastries, that I have never seen before and certain combinations but they were very good. The taste was on point and it was made with a high-level of quality. The only reason I gave this place one less star is because the price point was a little too much for what they were offering. There are many other bakeries that can give the same quality for a lower price, but I do understand that certain places do have different levels of pricing, just in my taste it was a little too pricey. But overall it is a good bakery and I will be coming back.
