My experience at Baked by 22 Grams was nothing short of exceptional. From the minute I walked in and spotted a friendly face behind the counter, my friend Maya, I knew it was going to be a great morning. The coffee was carefully crafted and smooth. The massive almond croissant was melt-in-your-mouth magnificent. Its filling was soft and perfectly sweet, with a complimentary topping of crunchy almond flakes. I savoured every. single. bite. Aside from the delicious coffee and pastry, the atmosphere was great. I had planned to sit, people-watch, and do some crossword puzzles. However, almost immediately I sparked up a conversation with a lovely father and daughter from Ireland. Then, they left and I found myself in conversation with a fascinating young man from South Korea. Before I knew it, two hours flew by. I left Baked by 22 Grams with a smile on my face, a satisfied stomach, and a happy heart.

Almond croissant is amazing. This is my favorite style of almond croissant, and what they are really focus on almond croissant itself. The top is filled with biscuits and the bottom is full of almond crisps. The almond filling is not too sweet.

Forget boring hospital cafeteria coffee! This amazing cafe, a stone’s throw from the hospital, saved my sanity (and taste buds) for the past six weeks. ☕️

Picture this: you’re stressed, hospital visits galore, and all you crave is a decent cup of joe and a pastry that doesn’t taste like yesterday’s bread. Enter this gem! Their coffee is seriously good – bold, flavorful, and exactly what the doctor (well, not that doctor) ordered. But wait, there’s more! Their bakery selection is a delight for the eyes and the stomach. Think flaky croissants, melt-in-your-mouth muffins, and treats that’ll make you forget all about those hospital cookies.

The staff? Don’t even get me started! They’re the definition of energetic and charming. Even when the place is buzzing (which it often is, thanks to its awesomeness), they whip up your coffee in a flash – I never waited more than 5 minutes. ⏰

My personal fave? The almond croissant. It’s flaky, buttery, and the almond filling is chef’s kiss. I’m already planning my next visit just for that!

So, if you’re near the hospital and need a caffeine (and pastry) fix, look no further! This place is a lifesaver (and tastebud saver)! ☕️
