What do Baker Bleu visitors reviews this place?
This place has been known for their bread & as you could see from their menu selection it’s not a huge variety but the quality was outstanding.
We’ve tried their mortadella sandwich made in their specialty baguette, it’s an Artisanal baguette that’s more dense than a French n was darker in colour.
Their baguettes are more towards the harder texture rather than being soft n chewy!
We gave their chocolate babka a try too, smthn sweet with our coffee is a must on a Saturday morning 😋😋
The sweetness was balanced & just the right quantity of chocolate!
No indoor seating but a couple of tables outside, it’s more like a grab n go!
* Boule – Their white sourdough loaf is a true masterpiece.
* Baguette & Ficelle – Perfectly crusty and delightful
* Country Roll – A small white sourdough roll with a chewy crust and a soft, heavenly crumb.
* Chocolantine – A sweet treat that never disappoints.
* Croissants – But not just any croissants – their sourdough croissant is a unique, nuttier, chewier, and heavier delight.
* The new Choco hazelnut pastry and strawberry pastry are just divine.
The staff at Baker Bleu are incredibly friendly and always happy to guide you through their mouthwatering pastries. They offer a core selection and delightful seasonal rotations that keep things exciting. The croissant is a standout, thanks to its unique sourdough twist, which gives it a fantastic bite. The bread is also top-notch, and it’s no wonder people from all over Melbourne make the journey here.
The shop is cozy and ideal for takeaway, but there are a few seats outside, just be prepared for a bit of a queue which is worth it!
So, if you’re a bread and pastry lover, Baker Bleu is a must-visit, and I can’t recommend it enough. Enjoy the incredible treats and the warm atmosphere!
Surely we will be back for the sesame baguette!!
