Every single time I go grab a country loaf.. Baker blue changelessly keeps a good quality.
Even if I store it at room temperature for a few days, the texture of moist in a good shape.
Masticating the country loaf is softer than an usual sourdough and also it has a good savor.
Many of bakeries do the chain store with a loss of quality for manufacturing reason but I believe the baker blue keeps the quality well.

It thinks I took these photos here but I didn’t, this was somewhere else. They do, I think, represent how I felt buying a bagel and a coffee from baker blue. Somewhere within the images is how I felt, 5 stars
Personally came to try their sweets, from the plain croissant, pain au chocolate, mini chocolate babka, and almond yuzu chocolate croissant. I loved them all, fresh and buttery. Great and quick service as well. They do some specials every weekend that interesting to try. Located in the middle of Prahran and Hawksburn, easy to catch by public transport like tram or bus. Also there is some parking lot around.
Got the rye & caraway and a country roll. Both bread were really delicious. I usually get a standard sourdough from other bakeries, but glad I got the rye & caraway! Would go back to try their pastries

Melbourne
– Rye & Caraway $8.5
– Boule $6
Best bakery in Melbourne? Haven’t tried all of them but Baker Bleu is definitely on the top of my list. The texture of both loaves were exquisite! Soft and moist bread with a crispy crust. The rye and caraway had a very unique herby flavour! Its my first time trying it! The boule was a typical white sourdough. Perfect balance of the sweet and sour flavour! Highly recommend ordering online to avoid the queue!
