Jörn’s delicious and authentic culinary creations are made with loving care and attention to detail. The sourdough bread and Heidesand biscuits are particular favourites of mine, and his range of vegan creations are just as mouthwatering – especially the muffins! Authentic, high-quality and yummy bakes of all kinds: a fantastic addition to the food scene locally and warmly recommended!
I cannot recommend Bakes by Jörn highly enough. Authentic German Bakes in the heart of South County Dublin. The Heidesand marbled shortbread cookies are to die for. The Käsekuchen cheesecake is positively sinful. The vegan apple and blackberry crumble muffins are delicious. The Bauernbrot country loaf is delightful. I could go on, but you get the idea. You need Bakes by Jörn in your life!
I ordered some weissbrot (white bread) and käsekuchen (cheese cake) from Jörn. It was so fresh and delicious. You can tell that Jörn puts so much care and attention into what he’s doing. He was so pleasant to deal with as well. I’d highly recommend Bakes by Jörn and will most certainly be ordering again!!
I’ve been lucky enough to sample a number of Jörn’s wonderful creations, from the wholesome but delicious sauerteig (sourdough) to the incredibly moreish heidesand (browned butter shortcake biscuits) – not to be missed!
Fantastic gluten free cheesecake. Not too sweet, firm in the continental style. Got dark chocolate on the top instead of milk chocolate no problem. Yummy!
