The chocolate almond croissants are one of the best I’ve had in NZ (croissant lover). The layers are so airy yet so crispy!! Better than so many popular bakeries in Auckland
Hidden away in the alley is this little gem. Got coffee in what looked like bespoke pottery. Ordered bagel with lots of seeds.
Lovely spot hidden via a “secret” art-filled alley off the main street. Lovely bakes priced between 4.70 to 6.80. limited seating available, so half the people coming in are doing takeaways.
Coffee and baked goodies (croissant and pain aux raisin) that we tried were great! Would recommend for baked goods lovers!

Special spot down a narrow path in central New Plymouth near the contemporary art museum. Pastries are baked to perfection. I couldn’t wait to enjoy before I took a picture. Imagine the pain au raisin twice as big.
