My boyfriend and I went in the morning to grab some pastries, got a butter croissant, cinnamon bun, and a raisin danish. Unfortunately, all tasted very stale, like they have sat there for a couple of days. The croissant is not flaky enough, and biting into the raisin swirl one felt like eating a buttery dough. None of the airy flaky texture or the buttery flavour of croissant came out. The cinnamon bun is overly dusted with sugar, so that was also quite off.

The store is clean, but the pastry ( can’t say for those sourdough bread)… not something I would go for again.

Delicious pastries!

Tried a plain croissant and a couple more, so tasty and you can taste quality ingredients. The croissant has nice lamination and a honeycomb layering, it is just the right amount of flaky-ness and has a good chew!

Also had their coffee which is good and definitely elevates the enjoyment of eating their pastries as a pairing.

They have very limited outdoor seats though.

There’s a cookie that is DELICIOUS! I can’t remember the name though but here’s a picture to ask for it.

I have to go back and try their breads, this is why I gave 4 stars. I can’t give a 5 as I can’t speak to their other baked goods.

We had the almond croissant and a chocolate croissant here and they were both delicious! Not too sweet and very very flaky! In my opinion the almond croissant I had was a little too crispy and I kept coughing because things were getting stuck in my throat but I loved every bit of it!! It was a cute little store and can’t wait to try their breads and other desserts! friendly staff who helped us pick our croissants!

Got the last almond croissant they had that day!! PHenomenal. $5+ for a single croissant is a little exorbitant… but I will be back nonetheless.

I read many reviews about Blackbird so I decided to visit this place. I wasn’t dissapointed.

The dough they make is very fresh and tasty.
The texture is perfect for my taste. Lemon tart is 10/10.

Would be fantastic if the have small seats.
