Bom Dia Café & Bakery

Went here to do some work on a Friday afternoon (around 3:00 pm). The cafe wasn’t too busy and I was able to find a seat in their upstairs area. I had their corn muffin, cannoli, and iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Spent $20 total (including tip).

Overall, I really loved the space. Great place to do some light work. Decent amount of seating (mostly upstairs) and cozy vibes. Excellent service and felt welcome upon entering and leaving.

Service was excellent – 10/10 Atmosphere was calm and peaceful and room to sit and enjoy. Vegan sandwich was delicious. Vegan blueberry muffin – amazing! Coffee and water excellent! Prices are good as well. Highly recommend Bom Dia Café & Bakery! Please add more vegan options! 🙂

It’s a crime I took this long to post this review because, genuinely, the entire team at Bom Dia made such an incredible effort to make my partner’s birthday so special.

Their Portuguese tarts have always been her favourite and, of course, they nailed them. But the star of the show was the cheesecake they put together for her. Not only was it the size of a small car, it was so beautifully, delicately, and thoughtfully done. It was also as delicious as we could’ve hoped for. We had a fairly intimate party and there were virtually zero leftovers.

Not only was the outcome amazing but the customer service was such a pleasure. Everyone involved gets so much joy out of their work that it can’t help but be infectious. With all of the other moving parts of putting together a party, the team made this process so simple and carefree. As long as we live in the west end, we have literally no reason to go anywhere else for a guaranteed great experience. 10/10 recommend.

The staff is so pleasant and friendly. I loved the feel of the place and all the great Portuguese options.

This may have one of the best natas in the city. If not the best. It was so warm and flaky with a perfect custard middle.

They rushed me to get through my order so I didn’t have much time to look over the display cases and menu before making my choices. The cupcakes are the best offering here. The varying flavors and designs make them appetizing, but they are not fresh (made the same day), usually a day or so old (dry/stale/hard cream tops). The cookie bag was the worst choice, as it was very hard, stale, and the flavor felt very off, I could taste the powder ingredients. I bought the birthday cake cookies, I couldn’t finish the bag as it was inedible. The shop itself looks great and the ambiance is very nice. I had hoped that the food would taste as good as the shop looks and presents.
