I bought all of their croissants and the cinnamon bun to try them all.
their dough is good.
but thats it! every pastry is lacking flavor. from the pan chocolate that is bitter (I don’t have a sweet tooth and that was even too bitter for me). to the almond croissant which isn’t a croissant. it is more of a sponge cake with a thin layer of croissant dough on the bottom part. to the cinnamon roll which was completely tasteless. honestly, beside the lovely staff.
no point going there.
Maybe their savory dishes accommodate the flavors of their pastry better. Though I won’t be the one to try them again.

During my exploration of Baker Street for a blog feature, I serendipitously discovered the charming Boxcar Bakery.
Spotting a queue forming outside, I decided to join in and treat myself to a delightful breakfast of avocado and boiled egg on toast paired with excellent coffee.
The experience left me enchanted, prompting a return visit over the weekend with a friend and my furry companion. This time, I indulged in the chocolate and banana waffles, which were equally delightful.
Whether you’re looking for a cosy spot to hang out with a friend or enjoy a meal solo, Boxcar Bakery is a must-visit if you find yourself in the area.
Square croissants, a game changer! Tue hot chocolate was divine, perfect for the weather. It was full of happy people eating yummy food.
Service is great. And many lovely plants.
Hiden gem, worth discovering.

Cute bakery in Marylebone. Love the modern shapes to the croissants. The layers were flaky and tasty and multitudinous. Delicious pain au chocolate. Ample seating inside and out for a quick bite or leisurely breakfast.
Really poor cinnamon bun for £4.50 a piece. There is an ‘optional’ service charge which staff add to your bill without explaining, which is very sneaky. We were laughed at by the staff when we queried about this and were refused a refund. The female staff member embarrassed us in front of a queue of customers. Her behaviour was completely out of order.
The coffee is pretty average and overpriced also. Really disappointed given that the cafe itself is splendid.
