This bakery seems to be the most famous in Cork, and the bread and desserts are really lovely, and I want to stop and look at them every time I pass by. Ate chocolate waffle and croissant, soft and sweet moderately.
Very friendly staff, very fresh pastries, exceptionally good prices. Two crossaints for €2.70, fresh as you can get. Plus they were literally 4 times the size of any crossaints anywhere in Ireland. Well worth a visit

I can’t believe that I ordered the cake with the customized message, paid 35euro and got a FROZEN awful cake for my husband’s 40th birthday.
I wanted to order a “Fraisier” cake. I was able to talk directly over the phone with the owner or who is making the cake and she said, they don’t do fraisier but recommend “Tropezienne” which is popular in France and there’s a strawberry inside of the cake. I trusted what she recommended and I believed it should be something similar with fraisier. However, it was a completely different cake and such a simple cake.
Ok, it was my mistake that I didn’t check what is this cake and what it looked like. However, the experience when we collected the cake was awful. My customized message was not with a cake and the girls looked a bit lost when we collected the cake. The message looked ugly and it didn’t look professional at all. I was so sorry and felt embarrassed for my husband. It was acceptable until we tried the cake but it was FREEZING COLD as this cake was frozen. The taste was awful, the genoise was too dry, no decoration at all, and there was only sugar powder. CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME WHY WE GOT A FROZEN CAKE?

Location is good.
It doesn’t have much variety in terms of cakes but for pastries, croissants, muffins etc it’s good.
Staff is very nice and helpful.
As luck would have it, I got a parking space.
The Bakery was lovely, served by Lucas a very Friendly Guy. Bought a few things, including the best Caramel Tart ever. Boxed beautifully, presentation is key. So very well done. I will be back. 👏
