Carlo’s Bakery Port Credit

Place looks good but thats about it. Been here a few times and the pastries are always stale and the baked goods either taste halfway decent or are just bad. They also serve multiple desserts on a single PAPER plate, so me and my friends had to all share a plate while eating. I expected more especially since Carlos Bakery is so well known :/

Looks not fancy bakery in front door. Lots of people were there for grab a lunch. It’s very reasonable price, less than subway. I share with my husband due to a big piece. Price wise and volume, I’m very certified. There is nice patio seat side of the shop.

There are better options, esp for the price.

Interior and bakery items themselves LOOK good. However, taste is a completely different story! This cake pie, while it’s an interesting, seasonal idea, wasn’t well executed.

The items that were ok, were the lobster tails and the zeppole. Just ok, Carlo’s just doesn’t compare to actual Italian bakeries.

Coffee was just terrible. Customer service, although accommodating, not particularly efficient.

The dessert selection was very impressive, just like Buddy’s creations in Hoboken. Love the lobster tails! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere added to the overall delightful experience. Highly recommend.

I was so looking forward to trying Carlo’s cake for the first time. I love carrot cake so tried that and was very disappointed. Cake was dry and tasteless. Icing was good but a moot point if the cake isn’t good! I’d seen slices in the airport vending machine but didn’t want a pre-packaged slice – turns out you get the exact same thing in the bakery (packages in the back of the picture). I love cakes and didn’t even finish this one
