Fantastic, best bakery we have had in Ireland. All fresh and scratch made. The scones with jam n cream are amazing. Don’t care for donuts normally but WOW this donut may have been the best I have ever had

Appreciated that they open early to grab a coffee before heading out the peninsula! Also got a coffee cake which was wonderful as well.
The sweetest place. I’ve passed by years ago and was mesmerized to watch the people working inside through the window when this kind old man came out and asked me if I wanted to work there. I should have said yes then! Always think about it.
The proprietors, Eileen and Gene, recently celebrated 50 years in business!!! Quite a feat! It’s easy to see why they’ve been around so long. The pastries were absolutely delicious. I made a special trip back the next day to sample more of their delicacies. Gene, the baker, had me in stitches. I’ve been sharing his jokes with family & friends. He suggested I sample the donut—“the best in the world!” He joked, “The dough is so light, you actually lose weight!” And, he reminded me, “The center is fat-free.” Not to be missed!
