Daan Go Cake Lab

I’ve visited twice and this store really is a hit / miss. The first time I tried some mango flavor cake and it was just ok. Parking seems to be relatively easy both visits.

Second visit today I tried the gold thorn (durian based) and was impressed. The texture is fantastic with combination of durian smooth + cracker chewiness at the bottom. I shared a serving with my friend but could definitely take up the whole one.

Overall it’s not a 5 star because not all items are superstars, but good enough for second chances. Will for sure come back just for this and will probably find more must-haves.

I must say the desserts were quite delightful. The cactus cake struck a perfect balance of sweetness, and I appreciated the intriguing graininess of the faux soil, adding a unique touch to the overall experience. The bubble tea cake impressed with its amazing tea flavour, although I found it a tad too sweet for my taste. The cuteness factor of the desserts added an extra charm to the visit. Overall, a sweet and visually appealing experience, with room for a slight adjustment in sweetness for those with a less sugary preference, However I encountered a minor challenge with the packaging. The box proved difficult to open, and I was cautious not to ruin the cakes while extracting them.

We went near closing time to check it out and we were entranced by all the cute cakes. I was pleasantly surprised when the cakes were not only adorable, but also delicious!

I had the cactus cake and the mousse was a perfect texture, while the layers of salted caramel cake inside were an amazing complement to the richness of the chocolate mouse.

Will definitely be back again with friends.

This is one of the cutest pastry stores that I’ve ever been to. Huge selection of Instagram-worthy desserts such as the Tira-meow-su or the Ramen Bowl for a slight premium ($9 each). They also offer ice cream and regular cakes at normal prices.

I’d recommend coming here every few months or buying some fun looking desserts for your friends/family.

Odessa coffee was particularly good, and very strong special Hong Kong style milk tea available as well!
The cakes and baked goods are nice to look at and delicious to eat as well, great place for sweets!
