Daily Bread — Britomart

I recently had breakfast at this coffee shop and had a good time. The place is stylish and modern, creating a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The coffee was excellent, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. I particularly enjoyed the cardamom bun, which was delicious and fluffy. However, the sausage roll was a bit disappointing. It was too greasy and too spicy for my taste, which detracted from my enjoyment.

Overall, it was a positive experience and I would definitely recommend this place for coffee and ambiance. Just maybe avoid the sausage roll if you’re sensitive to texture and spices

Wow, what an awesome experience! The place has this cool industrial look with super high ceilings, giving it a spacious and airy feel, which I loved. And the food? Absolutely amazing. I had the steak with chips, done the classic way, and I couldn’t put my fork down until I’d polished off the whole thing – and believe me, it was a hefty serving. The miso cheesy toast was another highlight. It was so flavorful that I came pretty close to licking my fingers clean. The service was quick and friendly, the coffee was great, and the overall vibe of the place just felt right. Easily a 10 out of 10 from me!

I went to Daily Bread in Britomart and tried some of their donuts (different days)!! The donuts are fairly fluffy and more chewy/doughy than other donuts I’ve tried (e.g. Butter Baby) which I didn’t mind since it went well with the filling anyways.

First I tried the lemon curd donut which was really good, big and fluffy inside, I loved the lemon curd and overall the donut was yummy and had heaps of lemon curd inside which wasn’t too sour but really nice. I think each donut is around $5-6!

The next time I went I tried the vanilla bean custard donut which was realllyyy goood!! It’s not too sweet but sweet enough, big and fluffy inside with heaps of filling. I think they’re a pretty good place to go to if you want a donut as a sweet treat.

They also have other cabinet food and a proper cafe thing next door to their quick bite area which I haven’t been to yet.

Breakfast bun was so yummy , the combo of the sauce and everything was great.
I enjoyed the hazelnut so very much.
I like the ambience and layout of this place, will definitely revisit when i return to Auckland.

Very nice place with great pastries and sandwiches.

A very nicely converted building with high ceiling and wooden beam. Tables and surrounding feels spacious. There’s a long table at the front.

Pastries are quite nice with lots of varieties, same with the sandwiches the reuban sandwich was particularly nice for me.

There are lots of loaves to buy which Daily Bread are also famous for (sourdough).
