About this restaurants :
From the moment we walked in the service was great and the breads looked amazing! I highly recommend the cardamon knot and the brisket knish although I don’t think you could go wrong picking anything. So happy we stopped by driving through colombus, and will definitely be stopping by again!
Incredibly delicious pastries which were better than some I’ve had in Europe. Warm, flaky, buttery. Dan, the baker is bang-on and talented. There is no doubt there.
My qualm rests with the prices. Two coffees and two pastries came to 26$ 🫠
I’m sure he uses the best of ingredients, which are costly, but can the same be said for the coffee? The coffee was simply an Americano and yet priced at 4$. I’ve had coffee at third wave coffee roasters for a similar price.
At the end of the day , the pastries were great, but even as someone who is “homesick” for Europe/delicious pastries , I don’t think I would return.
So glad this spot exists in Columbus!! Amazing croissants, and we LOVED the cardamom knot (best we’ve ever had, and we’ve had these throughout Europe and Scandinavia)!
This is by far the best bakery in Columbus. The quality for the price is definitely well worth it. There is no seating so it is grab and go. There are no longer latte’s served here but they do have hot coffee and cold brew. The bread looks and smells absolutely Amazing! I wish I could buy everything. You know when the Baker looks dead tired that this bread was made with blood, sweat, and tears. The pastries tasted better than some I have had in Asia, Europe, and New York. The Almond Croissant is huge and can probably be split between two people. There are actually moist flakey layers unlike the majority of bakeries in America. The chocolate and almond filling is delicious but I do wish there was no filling almond option. The cruffin was amazing as well but I do wish there was a simple vanilla custard option as well. If you are looking for one of the best bakeries in Ohio this is it.
The BEST chocolate croissant in town. We were visiting from Chicago and decided to stop by. We tried the chocolate croissant and cornflake chocolate chip cookie and they both were flakey, fresh and full of flavor. We are disappointed to see they aren’t open the entire week, but hope to stop by before we leave. We didn’t have the opportunity to try their baguettes and loaves but those also looked amazing.
