BEST FOOD STOP of our entire trip! Our group tried a variety of pastries, and every single one was absolutely amazing and very fresh. My personal fave was the coconut chocolate croissant. The atmosphere and vibe inside is also very cute and the staff are all super kind and welcoming- we loved it so much we bought pastries to take back home with us as souvenirs.

This is the ultimate destination for high-end luxury pastries. I never knew pastries could be this good. My favorites are the cronuts and the cookie shots – and the Frozen S’more is one of the greatest things on the planet. The items in the pastry case change on a rotational basis and there’s always new things to try. They know how to keep the menu interesting and creative.

The taste and texture is always amazing – and it’s always fresh. The back seating area has great coffee shop vibes, looking onto more seating outdoors with vines growing up an overhead trellis. Jerry Seinfeld was here to film an episode of “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” with Tina Fey.

The lemon croissant I enjoyed a lot. Coffee was very good as well. Their version of French toast was more like a cake and didn’t care for it as much. Worth coming here for their croissant and other dessert items. Just be mindful it will be between $10-$20 for a single bake good w/coffee. However, if you have a healthy budget enjoy!!

Very busy and popular spot with tons of selections. Got the DKA, cronut, apple tart tatin and a blossoming hot chocolate. There are decent amount of seating at the back, some are half outdoor.

The DKA is tender and denser on the inside while it is crunchy outside. A perfect combination of texture. It is great for a light breakfast or after meal dessert that is not too heavy or sweet.

The Cronut is filled with light sweet cream quite a surprised. Very interesting texture, tho it is the most heavy and sweet out of what I ordered.

The apple tart has a good combination of texture and flavor: creamy, buttery & crumbly tart, refreshing caramelized apple.

The hot chocolate is thick and has a toasted nutty flavor which is my favorite kind of hot chocolate.

I had an absolutely great experience going to Dominique Ansel for the first time. I highly recommend it. I had the Cronut and Cheesecake for sweets, and the Perfect Egg Sandwich for savory. My friend had another item (forgot the name – see picture) and it was also good. The service was excellent, atmosphere was great. Packaging was really top notch. I got a lot of comments walking around with their packaging on my way home as we shopped. I have to admit it was well done. Definitely worth the trip to check it out, and makes me want to go back! So many great places in NyC, thank you D.A.!
