Every time I walk in, I struggle to decide what I wanna buy. They all look so good, so tasty and so fresh. You can tell from the first bite, they use good quality ingredient.
Their almond croissant is epic.
My all time favourite is “paradise slice”.
Delicious hot cross buns (regular and gluten free), breads and pastries. There’s a charcoal sourdough loaf which the kids love “the best bread ever!”
Great selection of vegan options both sweet & savoury. Saturday special bombolini (Italian donut with sultanas?) was delicious and hot cross bun was fluffy and wonderfully spiced (both vegan)
What a chance discovery on my long walk to doctors appointment at Kensington!! Passing by the 2nd coolest street for a reason!! This black charcoal bread attracted my attention ! It’s black activated charcoal sourdough bread for $8.50! I ventured inside and could not resist the almond slice, the walnut brownie, mint brownie, … brownies…. And the big chunky beef pie!! Oh! I will delay my dieting till another day … when , if and only if… food is so so.. boring!!
Amazing quiche – definitely a must order! Loved the mixed berry pie too, tasty filling & pastry! awesome little bakery on Gertrude 👌🏾
