I would said one of the most tasty bakery in New Zealand. Worth to try but of course come with price.I bought Chocolate croissant , curry pie and carrot cake, it cost me 20nzd. So delicious.
They have a variety of pastries. Donuts, tarts, cake, croissants, breads. Spent some time deciding which to buy. They even sell pie 🥧, and coffee ☕. Even though there were a lot of people in the queue, they serve very fast so don’t have to worry about the long wait. I bought caramel eclair, it is so good to taste, but I find it too sweet after a few bites, maybe it might be a good pair with coffee. The atmosphere is good just that they don’t have any seats to sit on. I prefer some bakery shops that can sit for chilling.
They offer a variety of baked goods that are really good, including cream donuts and almond croissants. But my absolute favourite would be their chocolate eclairs. This eclair has brought me back to Queenstown for countless times, just so I could have a taste of it again. Melted chocolate coated on top, with amazingly smooth chocolate filling on the inside, the pastry was thin, holding a generous amount of filling inside. It was out of this world. It was my absolute favourite pastry ever, but everyone has different tastes. If you like chocolate, you can give it a try.
Visited on my recent trip to Queenstown. There is nothing you will not like at Ferg. From burgers to pies to ice cream, there is always something to match your taste buds. For my Indian friends, try the chicken jalfrezi and the cork Cajun burger. Filling and value for every dollar spent.
The pastries here are next level amazing! I made a couple of visits here to try the different pastries.
The cheese and steak pie was great! The pastry was so light and flakey. The pie filling was slightly too salty but the delicious pastry made up for it.
The chocolate almond croissant was delicious, again the pastry was nice and flakey.
The cheese and bacon baguette made for a nice mid afternoon snack.
Would highly recommend Fergbaker
