Looks tempting and nice, taste average so I feel all pastries are a bit overpriced. I expected something that makes me wanna come back again just for their creation. Unfortunately, overall it’s just average. (£14.5 for 3 pastries) Seat-in area was very busy, bit like pub. If you want some quiet coffee time, maybe come weekdays…
Great bakery in the heart of east London with a surprisingly large amount of seating.
They sell good quality coffee and of course some absolutely delicious pastries. If you’re looking for something savory try the pizza slices or focaccia sandwiches.
There’s some nice attentions to detail like the coffee cups which are made by an independent potter.

Stating the obvious but pastry prices are highish but don’t forget you’re in London Town and it’s similar to what other bakeries charge!
I went there twice. Had a cappuccino, toasted sandwich, and Italian cream bun when i was there for the first time. We enjoyed the toasted sandwich because of the nicely baked sourdough. Bought a focaccia before i left; it was quite good.
The second time i also ordered cappuccino. Had a chocolate coffee mousse cake with cream fraiche and marinated cheery on top. Quite heavy, so i would suggest to share it with a friend.

Wish for more savoury pastries because most of they pastries is sweet. There was a queue outside on Sunday afternoon but the line was pretty fast. Ordered the maritozzi and sausage roll. Maritozzi pretty good not too sweet. Sausage roll is good but way too oily. Taste pretty normal but worth trying. They have open concept kitchen which is pretty cool you can see the staff making the pastries from the dinning area. They also have good coffee.
Good bakery around Hackney. Went in quite late so they ran out of most of the selection (they said they usually sell out by 2.30, we went at around 3) but managed to get the blood orange custard pastry. Really good with good pastry to filling ratio. Coffee was really good too. Definitely will come back to try more!
