What do Future Bakery & Cafe visitors reviews this place?
It serves European baked goods. Must try for me which some pastries here, have never heard or seen before in my home country. Try their Cherry Chalet Cake ( my favourite…..unique, not sweet, the icing cream functioning as cold cream and cherry tastes like sweet plum tangy ) pistachio rumball ( quite pricey for the ball size, taste is good ) apple pie tart ( taste mediocre, good here is not too sweet ) and pecan taste ( sweet and don’t like its hard texture of cup, messy once it broken )
Yes to the Butter Tarts! We wrapped up a quick 30-hour tour of Toronto at the St. Lawrence Maket. This place is not to be missed! Get in here and get your fill of delights like the Butter Tarts from Future Bakery. The filling-to-crust proportions we right on. Served cold, we ate our tasty tarts right there in the market, but I imagine that a little warming up would really make these puppies sing!
I came here on a Sunday morning before noon and picked up a 6-pack of Portuguese tarts for $11.10 tax in. It wasn’t too busy and everything looked fully stocked.
The tarts were just okay and I felt that Carousel’s were better. The texture was more jello like than creamy.
Would not come back for the tarts and prefer Carousel’s instead.
Their pastries look delicious and fresh, I had a chocolate roll which was amazing for me, not too sweet and fresh. I don’t know how the other items taste.
We tried the classic butter tarts and they were really tasty and fresh. The service was also quick. A little bit pricy though!
