About this restaurants :
I didn’t buy anything, as they didn’t have the Egg Custard tart and Manchester tart I came for. I visited for the first time today, as I didn’t see them on Mold market last time I went there.
We were celebrating our 50th wedding in August and needed a small buffet for the day as we had arranged a large get together at a later date, with what was thought limited numbers on the day we asked could we have a small buffet for 10-12 guests, the day befor the anniversary the numbers increased two fold and with little hope I asked could we increase the food, this was not a problem and we received enough food for thirty guests let alone the twenty that arrived, now the food, wow all in trays which made collection, transportation and keeping fresh so easy, the sandwiches were very varied and all superb, even a few for the vegi’s we expected, there could not have been a better selection and all mega fresh, the selection of cakes was as good as the sandwiches and stayed fresh whilst eaten over the next 48 hours, now if you want to indulge we got wo trays of the superb pork pies and sausage rolls, these are both to die for, the best we have ever tasted, we can not praise the bakery enough and would recomend them for any function you need, and last but not least was the pricing, I can honestly say I expected to pay double what it did cost and it realy made our day special, thank you all for going the extra mile, cheers Nigel Andi and Sheila xx.
Lovely set up they’ve got here there’s drinks sweets crisps freshly cooked bread I think and nice staff very friendly, my ham salad baguette was so tasty with a real freshness taste, only real issue I had was there was stacks of gorgeous looking pies and pasties but they weren’t marked out so I knew what was what, other than that a real gem of a place to come across
The best Manchester tart ever having my pasty later but looks great too
Stopped for bacon on a batch. What a hidden little gem this is. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food was cooked fresh to order. Their food is not expensive and they also have a selection of cakes that make it hard to decide which to pick. Would certainly recommend this place if you are looking for quick, cheerful food if you are on the go
