What do Hazukido (First Canadian Place) visitors reviews this place?
A little hard to find. This is on the lower level (basement) of the ‘First Canadian Place’ building in the food court area.
We tried the peach refresh drinks and three croissants: strawberry & cream, orange & honey, and coffee mascarpone. The orange and honey was their flavor of the month but underwhelming. The strawberry & cream was fresh and creamy and definitely our favorite; not too sweet which was nice. The coffee mascarpone was a close second was a really smooth creamy and flavorful filling. All of the croissants were fresh and airy – really great texture & taste. The peach refresher was refreshing (shocking!) and not too sweet.

What an interesting bakery – specializing in croissants with interesting flavours. I tried the salted duck egg and also the durian. Both are solid and taste as described. If you are adverse to durian then beware!
I had them at 11:30am so perhaps they might have been crispy earlier. Have to find out one day and will adjust the rating accordingly.

So glad I could try a lot of different croissants from Hazukido! I know the other location at Atrium sells out fast.
Currently there is a promo, buy 5 croissants get one free. I only bought 4 because I can’t eat that much by myself but I highly recommend the following flavours, for sweet: Taro, Chocolate and White Chocolate. For savoury: smoked chicken (the priciest croissant, $5.49).
The croissants are more on the pricier side, definitely not something you’ll grab for breakfast every day (unless you’re boujee like that) but it’s a good option if you want to treat yourself or someone else!
Ordered hot chocolate thinking it would be delicious since it’s $7.50 for a small. All the drinks on the menu look like some thought was put into crafting them. Very disappointed with the fact that they use carnations hot chocolate and whipped cream from a can. I could have gone to TimHortons for the same quality and cheaper price.
I love this place. The croissants are absolutely delicious. I used to work at a bakery and so I can be a bit picky about breads and pastries in general – grocery store croissants just don’t cut it. But these are a great treat !!! I got the cheese croissant. Staff here are really nice and helpful although the line moved pretty slow. But the croissants are worth the wait. I also ordered and iced Americano which was also good.
