About this restaurants :
a wide selection modern bakery featuring homemade bread loafs, pastries and drinks. this place has a cozy interior and you can see what are getting before ordering. we got the rhubarb bar, savory croissant and blueberry scone. i was impressed with each. the rhubarb bar is soft, and taste naturally sweet. the croissant had nice layers, and the egg in the center was so creamy, a great breakfast choice. the scone had just the right balance of moisture, and was not dry. the prices are decent, leaning a little bit on the pricey side (depends what you get). the product is delicious, so if you value quality, i would say it’s worth it. this won’t be my regular bakery but it’s a great alternative to switch things up, as they have unique choices and delicious food.
Hewn is an outstanding bakery that offers a diverse range of delectable pastries and serves exceptional coffee. I was thoroughly impressed by their extensive selection of freshly baked goods, each one looking absolutely delicious. The service at Hewn is friendly and attentive, ensuring your satisfaction throughout your visit. You can definitely count on a delightful experience at this bakery.
Not gonna lie I’ve had better chocolate croissants but the BREAD was fantastic. It was still fresh tasting and absolutely delicious toasted.
I got the multi seeded one
The best bakery on the North Shore and beyond! Amazing bread and breakfast items. My go to’s are the monkey bread, croissants, and galettes. Superior ingredients used in delicious recipes. Been with them since their Dempster Street days. HIGHLY recommended. Always worth the wait even when it is down the street!
A cozy bakery that’s about as artisan as it gets. The interior is beautifully rustic, and the aroma of freshly baked croissants, scones, breads, and pastries entices you as soon as the door opens. Their selection is extensive, and the service is impeccable. The items themselves are slightly pricy, but you can really appreciate the craft and dedication put into every baked good.
I kid you not – I was about to walk past this place until the door opened. One whiff was all it took. That’s how good this place is.
