What do Iggy’s Bread visitors reviews this place?
Handsdown the best sourdough I have found in Sydney. It’s the white sourdough that I particularly love here. Fantastic crumb, really chewy with a nice thick crust and toasts absolutely beautifully. The darker the crust is the more flavour it has.
One other thing I love is that the bread here is warm in the mornings, with fresh bread coming out of the oven still. It’s pretty rare these days, as most bakeries seem to bake the night before.

This place really need to invest in a marketing and a signage for the shop as I came in last week and I couldn’t find the place cause there’s no signage anywhere that says the name of this place which makes it so difficult for the customer to find it. However, as I was walking by, nothing attract me to come in and try it, but I’ve been wanting to try Iggy as I heard it’s good. Well I guess there wasn’t much options of pastries more like bread and sourdoughs the traditional options not much croissants flavours. I got the chance to try. The pastry is the day. I’ve got the croissant and it’s just like any other croissant. There’s no taste of sourdough at all. I understand there is no yeast in it, but that doesn’t make it a sourdough croissant. Wasn’t crunchy or flaky was soft looked pretty tho

Iggy’s Bread is a very popular bread shop in the beautiful seaside suburb of Bronte. They make all of the products they sell in-house. Make sure to go early though because they sell out very very quickly. The first time I went was at 11.00am and they literally only had a few rolls left. And be prepared to wait in a very long line outside the shop and down the street. Worth the wait though.
Bread is pretty decent, solid sourdough flavour and good outer crunch. I liked the rustic appearance.
Sad that they only do croissants on Friday and weekends… I wish they could make them every day! still the best in sydney ofc!
First visit today after being recommended by the amazing staff at Broth bar and larder and it didn’t disappoint. I went with the bagels and boy was I happy, smile from ear to ear. I usually feel sick after eating bread, but my experience today was the opposite. Loads of butter later, I felt satisfied. I’ll be back as soon as the 12 bagels I bought are finished. That will be very soon I’m sure. A lady so knowledgeable in her product served me and she was absolutely delightful. Thank you 🩷
