I strolled in this Saturday, expecting the usual weekend mayhem, but instead found myself wrapped in a cocoon of sweet serenity. Despite the bustle outside, the bakery hummed with a quiet energy, the kind that invites you to settle in with a steaming mug and contemplate the universe, cinnamon roll in hand.

Seating’s plentiful, each nook exuding cozy charm. Sunlight streamed through the windows, painting the downtown view in warm hues. Even though I’m a Kirkland native, I couldn’t help but feel like a tourist on a blissful vacation, tucked away in some secret cafe. The staff, the icing on the cake (pun intended!), were absolute gems – friendly, courteous, and radiating that “we’re happy you’re here” vibe.

Whether you’re seeking solace in a solo pastry pilgrimage or a cozy coffee date with a friend, Kirkland Bakery ticks all the boxes. It’s a haven for quiet reflection and delicious indulgences, and trust me, I’ll be back for seconds (and thirds, and maybe fourths…).

Brightly lit, clean and modern interior with an inviting front. Purchased a few pastries from their showcase – though missed out on the one item we actually really wanted – the cinnamon roll. They were all very good.
Will come again – this time earlier, in the early AM – for the cinnamon roll.

First time trying this bakery out. Didn’t disappoint. Best quiche I’ve ever had. The cashier was pleasant and friendly. The service was quick, and the place is clean. Plenty of seating, with some window seats! Overall I give this place a 5/5 rating. I have been converted to a regular.

Been here twice. Food never disappointed. Recommend the scrambles with Chinese sausage.

I recently visited Kirkland Bakery and had a pleasant experience. The mocha I tried was excellent, easily one of the better coffees I’ve tasted in the greater Seattle area. My friend also felt it was among the top coffees around.The pastries were a highlight of our visit. I particularly recommend the Danish cheese fruit – it was delicious. The staff were friendly, contributing to the overall nice vibe of the place. While the decor might seem a bit old, it doesn’t take away from the bakery’s appeal.They offer a good variety of treats, from pastries and cakes to sandwiches and crepes. I heard their croissants are very tasty, but unfortunately, they were sold out when I visited, which I think speaks to their popularity.An interesting observation was a group of girls at a nearby table enjoying a whole cake, exclaiming, “It’s so good!” Their enjoyment was quite evident and added to our positive experience.Overall, Kirkland Bakery is a nice spot to visit if you’re in the area and looking for some good coffee and pastries.
