It smells wonderful, of bread, vanilla and coffee. I haven’t had such good coffee in a long time, a delicious mixture of coffee beans. The croissant is stuffed to the brim, delicious

Magico is a wonderful family run business, hard working, no airs & graces and as honest as the day is long!

It’s perfect for popping into on the way out of town, handy to pull in for parking, and very accessible. I try find any excuse to drop in!

Coffee is spot on 👌☕️ going in for some sliced sourdough and a rustic loaf, it’s very hard not to fill a bag with both sweet and savory pastries to bring home to share. The ham&cheese foccacia is a great filler on the go. And while front of house staff can change shifts daily, the owners in the bakery are more than home to come through out front to guide you through their product range. And if you need to pre order, this is not a problem. Guilia and Mateo are incredibly talented and so so helpful. Always trying to keep customer focused but also doing their level best to stay in business during turbulent times for the industry!

I like my coffee a lot, and I like their coffee a lot. I don’t do deserts and I don’t typically do pastries. I prefer a nice meal and savour the lingering taste of the main course.
However, that said their pastries are much more varied than the norm, they’re are all delicious and all pieces of art.
If you want to treat yourself to a nice half hour or hour, this is the place.
Oh and their savouries and breads are up there too.

Some delicious sweet treats too. They also do a great cup a tea.

Cakes from 2 days ago, a lot of insects in the pastrys, you are eating breakfast and you can see a lot of bee around the food, the ambient with workers looks so bad, honestly is a lot of places in athlone with better food and service, the only good thing there is Marco, so nice as always.
