Molloy’s Bakery and Fine Food

Great place for fresh baked bread and delicious cakes. Meal options are really good with takeaway and sit down available. Service is excellent. Lots of various items for sale too.

We were visiting Ireland during our daughter’s birthday just before Christmas. We called ahead to the bakery to have a cake made. They took care of everything and made the most amazing cake. The buttercream frosting was the best we’ve ever had. We also picked up some fresh bread and other items in their store. They have a cafe area in the back that looked wonderful, too, if only we had more time. Everything looked and smelled amazing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting or passing through!! Thank you, Molloy’s, you made our daughter’s day!!

Fantastic food went twice over weekend, staff are lovely, bringing oat bread home .

Wanted soup and roll. Lady behind counter told me in a not too friendly way that I had to be seated and a lady would come and take my order.

So went to a table and waited close to 7 minutes. Still no service so just left. The bread they bake is good but they should not have a cafe if they cannot function it properly.

There were lots of staff behind the counter too either bringing in empty plates but evidently not enough to have the time to serve people in the cafe.

Never again will I go here again. Poor overall and unfriendly customer experience.
