Mueller and O’Connell Bakery

Anything you get from their bakery is to die for ! The staff are lovely and I think there’s a good flow to the shop. My only critic is the coffee here just isn’t very good. It’s bland and lacks a good flavour profile. I would 100% be back though for the bakery items.

I’ve wanted to go here for a long time and this morning e finally got the chance for a little road trip. Wow!! The staff are so friendly, the service is so quick, it’s not over priced and the pastries are to die for! I also got a loaf of bread to try later and I can’t wait it’s so fresh and smells amazing. We also got coffees that taste perfect, and the fact they offer almond milk as an alternative and they make it perfect makes me want to come back again!!

One of the best bakeries I’ve been to. Beautiful pastries, a wide range of local produce on the shelves, and most importantly the sourdough bread is just phenomenal. We drive regularly from Kildare all the way to Abbeyleix just for a loaf & coffee. Usually by the time we’re home the bread is half eaten 😅 Staff is also super kind and passionate about what they do, which goes a long way.
