What do Sanremo Bakery visitors reviews this place?
We got donuts from this bakery and were blown away by their selection and taste! The donuts were more doughy than oily, which was a pleasant surprise. Their variety of flavors is impressive; from classic favorites like red velvet and caramel dipped to unique options like bacon and Dulce de Leche, there’s something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the abundance of fillings, especially the Nutella-filled ones.
Yes……..Highly recommend trying out their delicious donuts! You have to reserve your slot before coming to the place to pick up your donuts. No bypass. No exception.

I must say I’m extremely disappointed with my visit today, (Saturday, January 27, 2024). I paid 13.99 for a beef short rib combo with 1 side. The amount of fat, (the clear plastic lid), compared to the meat, (2 white bowls), is unacceptable. The lack of veggies for the side is a slap in the face. Not to mention the lack of detail and attention amongst everyone chit chatting behind the counter while line ups are almost to the door. Our latte was the only good thing.

In the west end of Toronto, a selection of bakeries offer an inviting array of baked delights, each with its unique flair. Sanremo standout feature among these bakeries is their commitment to high-quality, often organic and locally sourced ingredients. These establishments are celebrated for their wide range of homestyle baked goods, including cakes, cookies, and artisan bread, appealing to both traditional and contemporary tastes.
Some bakeries in this area embrace cultural heritage, offering European-inspired baked goods that reflect long-standing family recipes and traditions. These bakeries are often noted for their cozy and welcoming atmospheres, creating spaces where customers can enjoy authentic flavors in a comfortable setting.
Sanremo, not just a bakery, but it’s Family. It’s Commuity. It feels so familiar for so many long time regulars-It’s home for them!
Sanremo is honestly the best bakery-It has absolutely everything and much more. First off – It’s Italian-Who doesn’t love Italian food and sweets and their coffee station-is art! If you love donuts (as I do) Then you got to get a dozen Assorted donuts-to really get the experience! I don’t know what Ed and the team do but my Gosh….They are every bit of Heaven! My biggest suggestion is to pre-order online because those donuts are so popular they fly off the shelfs!
The sandwiches are Massive and Filled with only the best of the best products! I am always so amazed and they taste just as good as they look! I love this place! So if you haven’t been to Sanremo, pls do. You will not be disappointed.

This place has been around for what seems like forever. I used to come here 40 years ago after baseball games to enjoy a veal parmesan sandwich. Came today to try one after all this time and they are still just as good.
This place is known for great food and great coffee. The servings are huge but always full of fresh everything. The store itself is organized well in each section, and has a specialty of foods or desserts or coffees to serve.
If you’re close to Mimico GO station its a 5 minute walk. If you’re in the area you really need to come try some coffee and a sandwich at SanRemos.
