Sunflower Bakery

The most delightful bakery I’ve had the pleasure of going to.

After trying their pastries a few times at the milk market in Limerick on a Saturday, I decided to go to their bakery in Raheen. I couldn’t have had a better experience. I bought a loaf of white sourdough bread, some plain croissants and then couldn’t resist and decided to try some of their more artisan pastries. Having travelled extensively across Europe, I can confidently say this is the only bakery in Ireland that showcases quality on par with the very best in France. Beautifully decorated, fantastic tasting and even better tasting after talking to the owner to hear of the natural ingredients used to bake these goods.

Can not recommend this place any more, simply fantastic.

I look forward to their almond and chocolate pain au chocolate every time I come home to Limerick. Have yet to find one anywhere else as good as these in sunflower bakery 🌻

Fantastic hidden gem. Came across this bakery today and it was simply amazing. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The pastry was devine could taste the quality of the ingredients and could tell it was made with pure love and enthusiasm and the coffee was 👌
