Quick and friendly service without the pretentious attitude one sees at many of the other places in the area. Good prices and good food. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is the bread was stale on one end. I couldn’t even eat it. I gave it to the pigeons. I bake my own bread at home. I love to bake. It didn’t seem over baked, it seemed more like I had been served old bread. I’d still go back because other than a bit stale at one end the sandwich was great and I love a good sandwich. It was huge. I ate hours ago and I’m still full and I didn’t even eat it all. The pigeons got part of it.
Incredibly delicious !!!!! The staff are super friendly, we had breakfast there 3 mornings with my husband and our 3 children and everything was very good! And it’s not expensive, for us 5 with hot drink, orange juice and pastry we got less than 20 euro 🤩 our next trip to Dublin we will go here again ☘️☘️☘️
It was my first time at The Bakery. The window display was well organised and all the baked goods looked fresh and delicious. Wide selection of the sweet pastries, cream cakes, as well as warm savoury pastries. I went in just for the mince pies but ended up getting 11 different cakes and pastries to take home. I’ve got two sausage rolls, a Cornish pasty, two eclairs, plain and chocolate croissant, Dublin’s Gur Cake, couple mince pies and a quiche Lorraine. The total was €22,30 which was pretty good.
The high of The Bakery was the quiche. Fresh and still warm and perfectly balanced of leek and bacon in a lovely thin pastry shell, delicious.
I will return to try some other pastries as well as their sandwiches made with freshly baked bread. Highly recommend.

Called in for sandwiches for work. The craic was mighty! I mentioned that my mum loves the crust (aka the heel) of bread. They gave me bag of them to give to her. Sandwiches are old style wedges. Highly recommend.
Wonderful! We had a cappuccino and hot chocolate. Delicious! Owner is very friendly. If it wasn’t our last day in Dublin, we would come back
