What do The Natural Bakery Donnybrook visitors reviews this place?
We visited on a Tuesday midday, hoping for a leisurely snack and pleasant experience.
Two female staff members couldn’t manage a smile or an amiable word between them, until we were leaving. Were they glad to see us go?
We had an Americano, a tea, an apple thing and a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. The bill came to €17.44. The tea was bog standard teabag in a mug, Americano looked drippy and the sandwich was so hard I nearly broke my teeth trying to bite it. I gave up after one half, even though it was so small I could probably have eaten two rounds if it was edible.
The apple thing was said to be okay by my companion, who also ate the rest of the sandwich.
We left and went next door to Abrakebra where I got great, cheap, felafel and was greeted like a valued customer. Nuff said.

My experience of going to “the natural bakery” was a marvellous experience. I had a chocolate tiramisu and two whiskey coco balls and it was really delicious! The ambience is a top notch. Although it was small, sitting inside was very comfortable. I will without a benefit of a doubt will recommend this bakery! 🫶🏻🤩
Good coffee, decent pastries, but sometimes if you’re there early in the morning on weekends, it can be a hit or miss so worth asking if it’s fresh or not before getting it
Great place for coffee and snacks. Their Croissant, fruit scone, chocolate twist, cinnamon role and pear slice is great. They also have delicious vegan and gluten free cakes. Their fresh cream cake, biscoff vegan cake and black forest cake is nice. They also have vegan sharing box and gluten free sharing box. Their breads are also nice honey & spelt bread, multigrain pan and sourdough bread are great. One can buy gift boxes for gifting. They have many options in gift boxes my favorite are cupcake sharing box, mix of 7 macarons, donut sharing box and muffin sharing box. I still have to try cheesecake sharing box and tart sharing box. They also offer huge varieties of cakes for all occasions. One should try their red velvet cake, oreo cake (my favorite), black forest cake and vanilla buttercream. I still have to try their belgian chocolate fudge cake and cherry & almond tart. They also have nice sitting space with awesome ambience. The store is very close to bus stop which is huge advantage. 😀
Ordered a lotus biscoff cake for my cousins birthday.
It was delicious and moist. However I did think there was a little too much buttercream around the cake. Apart from that it was great.
