About this restaurants :
While my visit to 3 Girls Bakery, a venerable stall at Pike Place, was steeped in history and nostalgia, the culinary experience was a mixed bag. The croissant I tried, unfortunately, left something to be desired. It was somewhat dry, which might be attributed to my lunchtime visit – perhaps a morning trip might yield fresher pastries. However, the pecan pie bar was a delightful treat, striking a good balance of sweetness and texture. This bakery, one of the oldest at Pike Place, is certainly worth a visit for those interested in the historical aspect of the market. But if you’re seeking a culinary revelation, it might not be a necessity on your itinerary. A solid 3-star experience that marries historical charm with an average pastry offering.
One of Seattle’s treasures!
Three girls bakery at Pikes Market is a true gem. I always come by when in town for an early morning treat. Today I had a ham and cheddar croissant and a mixed berry scone.
You can see from the pictures that the pastries, cookies and breads are numerous and gorgeous. In the past I have had various types of shortbread. I especially like the lavender one. The lemon bars are awesome and I always have a croissant. The spinach croissant is my wife’s favorite.
The business was founded in 1912 by three unrelated ladies hence the name “Three Girls Bakery”. This is a local treasure and should not be missed!
I was excited to try out Three Girls Bakery while exploring Pike Place. Unfortunately, both the blueberry muffin, macaroon and apple crumble I ordered were overwhelmingly sweet for my palate. I expect sweetness from such treats, but this was beyond my preference. Moreover, the prices seemed a bit on the higher side. While the bakery has its charm, I was hoping for a more balanced taste experience.
As a true local who lives in the city and comes to Pike Place on the regular this place is amazing, been around longer than I been alive so must be doing something right? Well besides that the muffins Top Notch I mean this is made with love and no nonsense. I had the Blueberry Lavender Lemon & a regular Blueberry muffin l. Blown away with the taste and you can tell they used the highest quality ingredients. Today I bought a loaf of white bread and I will be buying bread here from now on. You just don’t get that quality from store bought anything and the prices are reasonable. Shop local and eat better quality matters and this place hits the mark.
Nice desert bakery.
Had an oatmeal raisin cookie, very peanut buttery peanut butter cup, and don’t remember what it was called!
