About this restaurants :
This place has queues so get there early!
You will agonise over what to order, but regardless you will be pleased. I was boring and opted for an almond croissant but it did not disappoint. Generous amounts of filling and a soft pastry crunch on the exterior. Their savoury options were also top notch, although more cheese would have been welcome. The pretzel puck was like a buttery cookie, delicious and large – should have been shared but wasn’t.
Best to arrive prior to 10am.

It worth the waiting! Excellent bakery and very professional and kind staff. It’s evident that they do their job putting lots of effort and love to hit the excellence. The Armadillo Chocolate pastry is superb. Congrats
Soooo the buns were okay. It was decent to be honest but not THAAAAT great. Like it was worth queuing 30 mins for or having to commute far for it. Having said that I did enjoy the cinnamon bun, it had a very subtle taste. Coffee was pretty meh. The raspberry mascarpone bun was okayish.
Wouldn’t go back again.

I’m not a big fan of sourdough but theirs is fantastic, very fluffy airy and light. The dough of the chocolatine was also incredibly tasty, among the best ones i’ve tried in London. Only downside is the massive queue outside. Coffe was also nothing special.
It was a really grim day outside but just stepping into Toad was a delight. We were served with a sparkly genuine joy from the workers and left with armfuls of delicious baked goods. Really enjoyed the morning bun, everything bagel pastry, Yule hog… pretty much everything we tried was really good.
