Two Eight Seven

I went to this bakery at Sunday afternoon, not even past 12, it was already crowded with local. long queue, and smelled of freshly baked bread. I bought Almond Croissant and it was one of the best I ever had.

It has a very nice service, you can also eat out what you have bought. And it’s only open on weekends

My favourite bakery in Glasgow. The porridge oat bread is delicious and very comforting. We recently made a Christmas order and the mince pies were incredible.

Beautiful. We bought bread, filled Sourdough rolls, cakes, all beautifully made.

This artisan bakery is only open Sat and Sunday. I was in area visiting friends and i queued both Sundays. People in queue being respectful of others. Staff are v v respect ful , kind and courteous. You may ‘blink’ at the prices , yet think about the planning , preparation , proving and crafting that is required for each delicious item to be ready for baking and then consumption.

Experienced the 1 Kg ( 2 lb) seeded bread , table bread , cheese ( so cheesy ) and fruited scones. And a wide range of sweet bakes. All great.

Lots and lots of UP HILL exercise taken to balance the ‘over load’….

Finally made it to this wee gem. My eyes were certainly bigger than my tummy – bought so much (sourdough rolls, scones, bread and cake) frankly because choosing was too difficult! Delicious- thankyou!!
