Una Bakery

Visited 3 times whilst on holiday, coffee was amazing each time. All the goods are freshly baked on the premises just as they should be. The pies and danishes we had were delicious and the prices of everything were reasonable to low compared to everything else in the area. I highly recommend a visit to Una!

Went to una bakery this afternoon. Was told by my gf this was a very good bakery in the area. I brought two pies, a sausage roll and a tan square slice. The two pies were the best thing, but overall average. The sausage roll was the main problem. It looked like no sausage roll I’ve ever seen. It’s was flimsy, wet, undercooked and pink. After chatting with my gf, I decided to go back and say I wasn’t pleased with the condition of my sausage roll. I politely talked to two woman at the counter and was informed, rather meekly, that this was the “normal” standard of their everyday sausage roll. I was not offered a refund, when I said I was dissatisfied with what I had paid for. Following this disappointment, the tan slice was a disgrace to a kiwi classic dessert. The base was oily and hard. The carmal way to thick and had an artificial flavour. For the overall price of $30 lunch, I would say just get Macca’s instead. 1/5 😞

My local and favourite spot to go for Coffee and bakery goodies Old school chocolate eclairs Pies are very tasty and great selection Try there cheese n bacon pinwheel or Lemon Meringue Tart or sometimes they do it as a Danish Soooo delicious Staff are always great too

Bloody good pie, was suggested to try Beef, blue cheese and bacon pie, did not disappoint

It was my first pie in New Zealand. The potato top pie is the best! So good!
Good coffee with good pie for starting my morning. Usually I get potato top pie and steak cheese for breakfast 🤤
