What do Weil’s Of Westdale Bakery visitors reviews this place?
I had asked for a lemon raspberry cake with butter cream icing for my moms 60th birthday.
It was delicious! The batter was fluffy and lemony. This has to be the best cake I’ve ever had from a bakery. I will definitely be coming back
Products: pies (dessert), pies (dinner) like chicken pot pie, bars, cupcakes, cake, butter tarts, meringues, eclairs, mini cheesecakes, croissants, scones, sticky buns, banana bread, loaves of bread, pop, juice, and water bottles.
Dining options: Takeout and –I assume– pre-order.
Tips: If you want a jaw dropping brownie, try Eric the Baker’s or Decadently Yours caramel brownie in Guelph.
Parking: They have street parking and a parking lot beside it.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a sidewalk in front. See my pics. I forgot to check if they have a wheelchair button. It is completely accessible indoors, no steps inside.
Unfortunately, however, the shortbread cookies I purchased recently (It was the batch sold in the afternoon of Mar. 19th, 2024, if it helps.) were not worth the money at all. It looks like no one is doing quality control any more. Plain ones were thin and super hard; Skor-flavoured ones were like unbaked cookie dough. What happened?? I am an admittedly untalented baker, and they were like something that I would have made myself. (i.e. I would not dare to sell them. )
If I get a response from the owner acknowledging the issue, I will gladly take down this review, and go back to give their shortbread cookies another try.
P.S. In terms of service, it really depends on who serves you. Some teenagers (or young adults?) who work there are smiley and friendly, and others are not.
