Wild Life Bakery

Pizza came out early! At roughly 9am so I snagged myself the first piece. More like a pizza flavoured foccacia, it was crispy on the bottom and a good amount of sauce on the top. No almond milk available unfortunately 🙁 so got oat instead and was still a solid coffee from Market Lane. Keen to come back to get some of their other pastries! Nice sitting area outside as well.

We arrived a bit late and did not find a wide array of breads, which was a bit of a bummer. However, we decided to try a flat white, which was pretty decent. The cafe was very spacious on the inside, and there were clean toilets and good service.

today’s little adventure took us to Brunswick to try out wildlife bakery… and we were super lucky because even though it was only 12, we managed to score the last plain croissant!! On a side note, we also tried their salad sandwich and it was so good, defs recommend. But onto the croissant 🙈at first feel of the croissant I was a little bit concerned that it was gonna be too soft and have no crunch, however I was happily suprised when it bit into it and had that perfect crunchy texture. It was also very light, with a balanced buttery taste and gorgeous gorgeous layers 😏 my only critique was that the middle was slightly undercooked so was a bit sticky once I got to its core, but it was yummy otherwise.

Rating: flavour 8/10, flakiness and crunch 8/10, lamination 9/10… so overall I rate it a 8.5/10. Super good work and would definitely recommend for lunch and a yummy treat.

One of the best local bakeries. We regularly get our bread from here and love it! The pastries are also all incredible. Very cute store and friendly service.

They are doing great work. Swung by to pick up an order (parking is a struggle) and it was ready in a flash. The pastries were fantastic…I enjoyed the crossants the least…but the others way more so. The bread was great…very happy happy with the products and the service. Happy to support them going forward.
