Across the Board Game Café

What a great place! They are open until pretty late (as compared to other places around), the coffee and other drinks are delicious (tried the recent addition – the eggnog and it was also great), the food is always fresh and delicious (tried a couple of sweet and savory options), there is also popcorn and other snacks available as the place offers hundreds of board games to play (for just 10 cad per adult). It sometimes may get a bit noisy, though (because of players). Other than that, it’s a really good place for a date, friends meeting or a family gathering. ETA: cocktails and cheese&spinach dip with nachos were also awesome!

We reserved a table through their online booking system. Once we arrived, we were promptly seated!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been at Across The Board. This time around I went for the board games so I can’t say anything about the food!

Overall a really great place for friends and family! Loads of board games and staff is pretty knowledgeable and can help you figure out board games and all. Last time I went I played a specific game and after giving the description to the staff, they managed to find the game for me!

Definitely recommend for a place to play fun board games.

Took my husband and kids (ages 7,10 and 12) for the first time. 3 hours flew by. The kids loved the cheese pull from the pizza. The strawberry milkshake was so good and they have popcorn to snack on while playing. The game master recommended games we all can enjoy.

Across the Board is a great place to spend time with friends and family. I actually picked this place as a first date with my now husband. I figured if there was a lull in the conversation, at least we had a board game to focus on. And it was great! We’ve been back many times. 10/10 would recommend!

Cozy spot to have some good food and play games. The best part is they have game experts who can help you pick the right game and explain how to play it. Very friendly staff and well maintained ambiance.
