What do Bakehouse Cafe visitors reviews this place?
We spent the night in Waikawa and in the morning were in search of an excellent coffee. We could not find any reviews directing us to good coffee in Picton, but having looked through the window and seen the coffee machine, we thought the Bakehouse Cafe might be our place. And it was! The coffee was superb, we enjoyed one each while there, and then another to take away. We also each had a fresh warm egg and bacon breakfast muffin, which turned out to be excellent, top quality and super tasty. The place is very well run, friendly and with nice energy and a wide clientele. They present a wonderful range of fresh and attractively priced food — quality of all seems to be very good. The glass case full of savoury pies looks impressive, as do all the nice-looking cakes in the other case.
Great service, food and drinks. Owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our standouts were the pies and the booster smoothie, would definitely return.
They were very busy when we visited and we can see why! Fast and friendly service. Good coffee. Amazing pies! I has the pork belly and cabbage, it was super delicious. Highly recommend for your coffee and pie stop.
Bakehouse Cafe is local delight. The pies were delicious. The chicken, mushroom, bacon, camembert pie is the best pie my mate has ever had. Not a fancy place, but super friendly. Nice coffee too.
Loved my pie here, just wish I remembered what was in it. It had Porkbelly as the maim ingredient. Soo delicious…
