What do Butlers Chocolate Café, Grafton Street visitors reviews this place?
Had a cup of praline hot chocolate. It was alright – the typical chocolate taste. Not as strong as I’d hoped, felt a little too sweet. The chocolate pieces were delicious. Service was great! Convenient for a hot drink before visiting the nearby park, especially in winter.
Rude guy at the counter with pony tail may be Turkish guy not sure, found him very rude doing a favour no customer service skills, he offered free chocolates to everyone, but not us, assumption made we would ask? What a jerk on the counter,…..would never visit or recommend anyone to visit the outlet…..I hope the management gives him customer service training……
We came to Butlers on multiple occasions after we realised you get to select a complimentary chocolate truffle with each coffee purchase and so I began to work my way through the offerings (until I bit into a liquid caramel one and it dropped all over my dress)
Small chocolatier/cafe but serving a mighty variety of chocolate truffles and a mean oat milk cappuccino mate! Seating is limiting…about 6 to be exact. If your stopping in for a take-away beverage or truffles you’ll be A-OK. I wouldn’t hold a meeting or expect to gather a group here.
Service is pleasant, prompt and there are a variety of options to satiate your sweet tooth. Dark chocolate, caramel, white chocolate, bars, gift boxes and more. I enjoyed a few truffles accompanied by a delicious oat milk cappuccino.
I am a regular at Butler’s. I always order the dark hot chocolate. I tried this in the 2 Butler’s on Grafton street, and I was very disappointed since they didn’t use the melted dark chocolate! They only added the powder. I hope it is not the new way of making the Dark Hot Chocolate. Apart from this error, the employees were nice, smiling and friendly.
